ABOUT US

Project T.O.U.C.H. – Together Our Unity Conquers Homelessness!

The Face of Homelessness has changed…Since our foundation in 2003, we have fought and advocated for our most vulnerable to receive the most basic and essential human needs. Since 2007, we have been providing a dedicated call center serving our local Police Departments 24/7.

Project T.O.U.C.H. operates year round Emergency beds for Southwest Riverside County for our most vulnerable citizens serving approximately 40-50 people every day.

As well as our primary year round self-sustaining transitional housing program serving over 250 individuals daily. Single mothers, men & women, emancipated foster youth, domestic violence victims, seniors, mentally and physically disabled, veterans and entire families with an average of 90-100 children are served through shared housing.

Both programs provide comprehensive case management, employment assistance, transportation, food, clothing, medical assistance and more!  We answer 1000’s of calls annually, walking alongside those in need to give resources and support to homeless and potentially homeless individuals and families - providing a safety net of Love & Hope...servicing the most vulnerable in our community…

Project T.O.U.C.H Current Programs:

  • Transitional Housing with 250 beds to assist single mothers, families, Veterans, seniors, and the disabled – averaging 90 - 100 children daily throughout Riverside County including an emergency housing program.
  • Police Response Program responds 24/7 to calls from local police departments to assist in homeless and abuse situations.
  • Direct Emergency Assistance for food, clothing, transportation assistance, hygiene items, and various emergency needs.
  • Community Food Program utilizes our long standing business relationships and new partnerships to provide a stream of food donations that not only feed our clients in transitional housing, but also supports other local non-profit partners and churches that assist the community.
  • Resource Referral Center responds to hundreds of calls monthly to provide appropriate resources for any given situation. Project T.O.U.C.H. partners with Social Services, Drug and Alcohol Rehab programs, Mental Health Service, Homeless Prevention Programs, and other community outreach programs.
  • Divine Discount & Thrift Store Work-ability program trains clients for future work in retail.
